Books
The maximum time you can keep a book is 2 months as long as you are first to reserve the book. After 2 months, it will need to be returned and you will not be able to reserve it until it returns to us for one cycle.
If there are multiple people trying to reserve the same book with limited copies then the patron who reserved it first will be given priority.
If the damage is considered to be insignificant and the book is still usable then there will be no fine or charge. If we feel that the book needs to be replaced due to the damage, then the full cost to replace the book will need to be paid. This will be according to the discretion of the management.
Although most of our books are in English, we have a reasonable amount of books which are in Arabic. We also have a few books which are in English and Arabic.
Yes, we strive to get the full collection of books wherever possible. Patrons could borrow volume 1 of a book during a month, then move on to volume 2 during their next delivery date and so on, if they wish.
No, at the moment we do not see enough demand to introduce books of other languages to our collection. We will closely monitor the demand and assess the situation as it develops.
