Books
The maximum time you can keep a book is 2 months as long as you are first to reserve the book. After 2 months, it will need to be returned and you will not be able to reserve it until it returns to us for one cycle.
If there are multiple people trying to reserve the same book with limited copies then the patron who reserved it first will be given priority.
If the damage is considered to be insignificant and the book is still usable then there will be no fine or charge. If we feel that the book needs to be replaced due to the damage, then the full cost to replace the book will need to be paid. This will be according to the discretion of the management.
Although most of our books are in English, we have a reasonable amount of books which are in Arabic. We also have a few books which are in English and Arabic.
Yes, we strive to get the full collection of books wherever possible. Patrons could borrow volume 1 of a book during a month, then move on to volume 2 during their next delivery date and so on, if they wish.
No, at the moment we do not see enough demand to introduce books of other languages to our collection. We will closely monitor the demand and assess the situation as it develops.
Yes. You will need to reserve the book on the online platform libib. However, the maximum time you can keep a book for will be 2 months
Delivery
In this scenario, please contact us and we will arrange the driver to come at the next available day.
We hope that customers take care of the box. However, if a damaged box needs to be replaced then the patron may be liable to pay for a replacement.
Our driver has many locations to get to and your designated day has been carefully chosen and this cannot be changed, under normal circumstances. Please contact us to see if there is any flexibility.
No, the first box you receive is free. You will use the box for the duration of the subscription and return it once you cancel it.
Reservation
If we have made a mistake then contact us immediately through contact@ruqi.org or WhatsApp and we will fix this as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, you will have to wait till your next delivery date to change this book. However, send us an email at contact@ruqi.org or WhatsApp and we will try to arrange a change of books as soon as possible.
Go to the Libib website, login, browse the cataloge and reserve the books you like
Prices and Plans
You will need to apply for the basic plan which is our lowest tier at 100 QAR per month. You will have the choice of taking 3 books only or you will always have the opportunity of taking 5 books.
